About Psychological Counselling and Sandplay Therapy

Psychological Counselling and Sandplay Therapy are published twice a year as the Academic journal of the Korean School Public Sandplay Association. Research papers, materials and editorials in the field of school counseling and sand play can be published. Also, Publish presentations at the official academic meetings of the Korean School Public Sand Play Association, and a list of M.A. theses and Ph.D. dissertation in this area can be published.

This study is a single case study of sandplay therapy conducted with a 12-year-old girl exhibiting selective mutism symptoms resulting from depression. The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of sandplay therapy on the child's depressive symptoms and selective mutism. The therapeutic process consisted of 20 sessions over a 10-month period, based on interviews and psychological assessments.
